Repairs

Here you can see what i repaired and restored up to today. A lot of text documentation is missing here, most stuff currently is just a bunch of photos i took during the work. Having an easier way to document everything now might give me a bit of motivation to really do this soon.

For the old overview, see below. This new list is sorted the same way like the navigation menu, but it is not limited to 10 entries. The entries found in the following list are sorted by their last modification date, so the stuff i worked on recently can be found on top of the list. Some items had more than one repair so far, there don't exist multiples entries, like i had this in the manual list, but they appear as one entry in position of the most recent activity.

This will live as long as i didn't create separate pages for those items.

Kawai K5000W		Got this 06-Dec-2005 with minor defects for 382 EUR together with the MCB and a K1m from an internet auction
Elektor Formant		Got this 15-Jul-2006 defective and incomplete for some sort of technical help flatrate from a friend

Yamaha DX21	No image yet, sorry.	Got this around 1989-1990 in very good condition together with a D-110 and an Atari ST for 700 DM (around 350 EUR) from a classmate
ARP 2600		This is the property of mfox 16-Jun-2006: Implement trigger conditioner 01-Aug-2009: Refresh (faders, keyboard, more)
AAC Tiracon 6V		A board set from the AAC Tiracon 6V. eBay 27,50 EUR + 8 EUR service manual + 6,90 EUR shipping. Arrived 12-Jun-2009. On 20-Jun-2009, i got a nearly complete Tiracon 6V for 110 EUR incl. shipping.

Guyatone GA-1050D		Mazze brought this 03-Jan-2009 because of humming noise after running for a while
Kawai K5000 Macro Control		Got this 06-Dec-2005 with minor defects together with the Kawai K5000W
Technics SX-K700		Got this 21-Jul-2007 defective and stinking for 40 EUR from an internet auction
Elka Concorde 811		Got this 10-Feb-2008 defective for a box of beer via a member of synthesizerforum.de
Dynacord Echo King		Got this 27-Jul-2008 defective in exchange for my NeXTstation collection from a friend.
Behringer A500		Got this 30-Dec-2005 brand new for 175 EUR from an online store
Akai S2000		Got this 29-Jan-2006 with minor defects for 90 EUR from a friend
Sequential Circuits MultiTrak		Got this around 1989-1990 defective for 400 DM (around 200 EUR) from a friend of a classmate, added around 90 EUR for the spare parts
KeyboardRepair		How to repair malfunctioning keyboard bubble contacts

Korg DW-8000		Got this 24-Oct-2005 in very good condition with minor transport damage for 162.38 EUR from an internet auction

Studiomaster Power House 12-2		This is the property of Matthias 23-Feb-2008: Quick check of the problem - broken PCB
Roland SH-101		This unit was here to get repaired for a friend. All notes stuck on the same pitch - IC9b was broken, replaced IC9 (TL062) and fixed the keyboard, as one key hung due to a bent rubber contact.
Korg MS-10		Repaired for a friend, included separate VCO out with +-5V on the rear for crazy filter modulation and more.
Roland CR-78 2008-07		Another Roland CR-78 from a friend, this unit has heavy damage due to leaked battery.
Korg Poly-61		Got three of them defective from eBay 15-Dec-2007: Start fixing the first one The whole restoration took about 20 hours to get two of three working.
Suprem Guitar Amp		This is the property of Matthias 05-Aug-2007: Major cleanup, found EL34s to be weak 02-Sep-2007: New tubes arrived, installation and test
Hohner StringVox		Got this from Matthias 18-Jul-2007: Major Cleanup
Roland CR-78		This is the property of mfox 08-Jul-2007: Fix horrible trigger problems (defective parts in digital part), restoration
Ensoniq EPS		Got this from eBay 09-Jul-2007: Major cleanup precedure

Elka ElkaTwin 61		Got this defective from eBay 01-Aug-2006: Fix several contact problems and loose boards
Farfisa Synthorchestra		This is the property of mfox 01-Jul-2006: Restoration (Cleanup/Tuning)

The dates given are the start of the repair, some of those items took quite a while or needed to wait after the start due to lack of parts or time. The link format is taken from the old repairs page.
