The idea for the WaveBender came up during thinking about better waveshapers for my DIY synthesizers. Needing something to create a very clean triangle signal from a sawtooth signal, i though about how i could just fold over the waveform at a specific point. Those first experiments with the diodes around an operational amplifier looked funny enough to try out how good this is usable for sound shaping. The WaveBender was the result from those experiments.
Currently, it just exists as a concept, but might get a module for my current DI project.
